AUSTIN, TEXAS – (February 5, 2007) – The Aristos Group Inc. and CySolutions, Inc., announced the two firms will develop a direct interface between the PECSYS® Clinical Information System and CySolutions supported products.
This will result in automatically transferring data from CySolutions supported Centricity Practice Management and Electronic Medical Record systems into the Patient Electronic Care System (PECSYS®) Chronic Disease Management application. The interface will eliminate duplicate data entry and give users rapid access to data, thereby streamlining workflow and increasing efficiency.
Currently, patient data is often collected and manually entered into PECSYS® after the same data has already been entered into the Practice Management System. When laboratory and other electronic interfaces are available, they must be duplicated so that the data also populates PECSYS®. The new interface eliminates that duplicate data manipulation.
Allan Fabrick, President of The Aristos Group, stated, “The integration of PECSYS® and the Practice Management and EMR systems using CySolutions CHC Enhancements will for the first time offer a sophisticated turnkey solution to community health care organizations. PECSYS® is the most widely used clinical information system today. With the integration of CySolutions products we believe that no health care information system can compare for quality, functionality and value.”
“We are excited to partner with Aristos. For the last several years, clinics have struggled for efficiencies in chronic disease and population management” says Bill Young, CEO of CySolutions. “The combination of CySolutions' and Aristos' experience that this alliance provides will result in products that enable healthcare providers to focus on developing and tracking chronic disease and preventive care goals for their patient population rather than spending time determining how they are going to get all of their systems to talk to each other and get the data they require.”
“The tools we develop will also painlessly satisfy the providers' regulatory and internal reporting responsibilities, which will increase the quality of patient care for their entire patient population. The many customers already using the PECSYS® system will be able to preserve the data that they have collected without having to convert to other systems, and will also be able to retrieve PECSYS® reports and output from within their other clinical management software." |
