The lab requisition system allows you to create a lab requisition from patient visit information and lab panels or tests selected by you. The requisitions are recorded in a database file that is integrated into Practice Management.
Lab results can either be scanned into a separate repository of lab results, or HL7 files can be imported into a table of lab results that can be compared, analyzed, or reported. Laboratories which make HL7 information available include Labcorps, Quest Laboratories and Unilab, although labs using HL7 can also be imported once testing of the data set and protocols is completed. |
